Vampiros Lesbos

OMG. Oh yes, we will go there. This Sunday, February 24 2008 at 8 p.m. lesbian vampires will take to the screen at the Bike Oven in Highland Park for yet another Bike-In Theater screening. This month’s feature? Vampiros Lesbos!

More about Vampiros Lesbos (from FilmCritic.com):

“As filtered through the drug-bombed haze of Jesus Franco, this mixture of vampires and sun-drenched Riviera setting is nonsense from the get-go, but if you like a little soft gore with your soft core, this is the movie for you.”

If you had a bunk Valentine’s Day, or you’re looking for something to do this Sunday night, this movie will fulfill your deepest desires to see dracula-themed lesbian softcore seventies art house sex with a bumping sexadelic soundtrack. The lead actress died shortly after making this film, at the ripe old age of 27.

There isn’t a lot of high minded philosophy in this one - just lots o’ eye candy and some crazy lady eatin’ she-vampires. The soundtrack is awesome, so if you’re hearing impaired we’d recommend a highly gifted sign language interpreter.

This month’s Bike-In Theater, featuring a screening of “Vampiros Lesbos“, will take place on Sunday, February 24, 2008 at 8 p.m. We’re asking for $3 at the door (it’s a donation - for so we can pay the rent). Garlic pasta will be on tap (?) as well as some delightful bottled beverages - only a buck, try your luck. For more info, contact this month’s Bike-In Theater organizer, Black Woman Sidekick at blackwomansidekick@hotmail.com.

We’ve also got an event posting up at Midnightridazz.com.

Oh, if any of you know Dr. Gottlieb at Occidental College, tell him he gets in fo’ free tomorrow night - and I’ll buy him a beer. After all, he wrote about us in the Sierra Club’s magazine (and also, this one time, he shut down the 110 freeway for bicyclists and walkers).
