Community Meeting to Deal With Aftermath of Gun Battles

In light of the recent gun battle(s) that broke out in the Cypress Park/Glassel Park neighborhoods of North East L.A., local leaders are inviting the public to come together during some regularly scheduled Neighborhood Council meetings to discuss what has happened with local law enforcement officials.

The first meeting we’ve heard about is being coordinated with the office of Councilmember Ed Reyes. Councilmember Reyes is encouraging all concerned residents to attend the Greater Cypress Park Neighborhood Council, Health and Safety Committee Meeting this Tuesday February 26, 2008 at 7:00 pm.

Los Angeles CA 90065

Councilmember Reyes will be accompanied by: Deputy Chief Diaz, and Captain Perez of the Los Angeles Police Department.
