beijingGet your wok n roll , we just got a donation of a wok so we are showing chinese bicycle movie. yes come sunday expect to eat stir fry or something asian. Bring what you like and get ready to relax in the firsy summer movie at the bike oven. Have you had your bike stolen come and check out the unique situation that occurs in this movie. chicken leather will show his goods at the begining so the movie probably starts later but come check out whats happening with the bike scene. Catch up with the chicken if you can.

Draft Monkey Stencil Party-art show/Spoken Art Ride 6/12 7pm

The spoken art Ride has a new start point which is the flying Pigeon/Bike Oven at 7pm. Bring lights and blinky’s and if dont have any the Flying Pigeon has a selection for purchase. We take off to 5 galleries, the shows change every month in all galleries so it’s always a new show full of surprises. It’s like going through the lourve in 30 seconds.

The art is Wilson Diaz , Stencil artist studying to be an architect. Come enjoy his monkey business of stenciling. He’s selling shirts cheap and poss prints of these guys(monkeys). Party will entail ater the ride at the Bike Oven /Flying Pigeon.monkey-poster1monkey-poster11

Job Announcement – “Bike Wrangler” Used bike recovery and distribution

Looking for a chance to help Los Angeles become more bike friendly and get paid to do it? The County Cycling Collaborative is hiring a “Bike Wrangler” who will scour the County’s universities, police departments, Metropolitan Transportation Authority and other sources to find used bikes, recover them, and redistribute them.
