This aint no twilight lucky for you. It is an armwrestle away as to the choice of the movie. Americathon or Idiocracy(i spelled that totally wrong
) which proves the point If Steve doesnt show up then we show Americathon. If he does show up we armwrestle steve for it. Americathon deals with a future with no oil everyone rides bikes and the goverment goes bankrupt and tries to raise money pulling a telethon, this movie was made in the 70′s yes, the precious 70′s where movies were nieve and predicted the future. why didnt our parents listen. Oh and meatloaf eats a whole car. George carlin narrates and Elvis costello is the prime minister. sunday august 23 8pm we will show the 4 unedited races. there was not a lot of in between but there is begining and end then an interission and we’ll slip in a little bollywood possibly depending on how you guys feel but there’ll be indian food and it is free . feel welcomed to bring your own drinks.

Okay, the Emmy’s are going on, but screw that – we’re celebrating Veronica’s, aka Black Woman Sidekick, Bike Oven volunteer and event planner, birthday with cupcakes, tacos, and (of course) beer.
Entry to this fiesta of gustatory and A/V delights is free, but bring a little change to pay for the beer.
We were so buzzed the last time we saw this month’s film, El Topo, that we’re not sure what it was about (but there is a sequel coming out soon!). Be prepared to shocked – nudity, girls dressed in black, seas of blood, etc. Hey, it’s an adventure!
El Topo was burned by the film’s producer, but was save through some handy back up reels. The filmmaker, Jodorosky, is on par with Werner Herzog.
Jodorsky also got stoned (literally, with rocks) for showing this movie in Mexico. He’s now living safely in France. A bunch of his films were burned by that same producer. Somebody get a fire extinguisher and follow that guy around already!

The BIKE IN MOVIE NIGHT IS BACK FOR THE SUMMER. AND WE’RE DOING TRASHY SUMMER DRIVE INS. First up, we’re going to be fast forwarding through The Car 1977, a demonic car movie far worse that Christine and a bicyclist worse nightmare. We’ll fast forward through the slow seventies long dialogue and get you the real guts of the movie.
Then after that we are going back to classic Kung Fu, with SISTER STREETFIGHTER, starring Sonny Chiba and an actress that looks suspiciously like one of our regular bikers, ANNIE.. You see Annie on rides giving a few martial art moves. Just erase the streetfighter thoughts that come to your head, videogames kids cartoons. this is NOTHING like that,. This movie KICKS KUNG FU ASS, and it may have inspired Bruce Lee’s KUNG FU movie career.
