Register to Vote!

The single most important thing you can do for the Joe 4 CD1 Campaign is to vote!

Who can vote in Los Angeles County?

You are eligible to vote if you are a citizen of the United States and at least 18 years of age or older on or before the day of the primary election on March 7, 2017.

Naturalized citizens who are 18 years old on or before the March 7th primary election are eligible to vote too. Even if you become a citizen after the close of the registration period. Yes, you can still register and vote anytime up until the close of polls on election day. And we need your vote!

If you are or will be eligible to vote…

Make sure you are registered.

Check your voter registration on Los Angeles County’s website or call the Registrar of Voters at (800) 815-2666. If you are not currently registered to vote, then register online at the County’s voter registration website. Remember: the deadline to register is by the close of the 15th calendar day before the election (February 20th for the March 7th primary).

Vote early using vote-by-mail.

With a vote-by-mail ballot, you can either return the ballot by mail or drop it off at your polling place on Election Day. Request that a ballot be mailed to you or download your vote-by-mail ballot here. Find more about vote-by-mail, visit the Registrar’s vote-by-mail information website. (Note: if you want a mail-in ballot, make your request no later than 7 days before election day.)

Call on your friends and neighbors to Register!

If your friends and neighbors are eligible to vote but haven’t already registered, let’s get at least five of them registered. That will be HUGE for District 1!
