[Announcements] Upcoming Events at BikeOven

We at BikeOven also wanted to let you know of upcoming events. Here is the
rundown:

This Wednesday, August 19th from 7pm-10pm we are having a wheel building
class and preference  is being given to those who are active volunteers and
or have expressed interest in volunteering at the Bike Oven. Please RSVP as
soon as possible  if you are interested as we have limited space. This is an
opportunity to meet other volunteers and learn a new skill. Plus the Oven
could use some some  decent  wheels! Hope to see you there.

We will also be having a beer brew class coming soon, stay tuned for the
exact date.

In case you haven't heard, the Bicycle Film Festival is coming soon. The
dates are August 26th through the 30th.

The upcoming spoke 'n art event will be on September 12th and the theme is
Bikeable LA/Drunk-economics. We have an open call and are looking for art
that relates to drinking and biking and how drinking/biking can get us out
of this recession/economic turmoil. Contact Veronica by September 11th  if
you are interested. You'll need to drop your art off between 2pm and 6pm on
September 11th.

In case you weren't aware, we always have Movie night on the 1st and last
Sunday of each month. Here's what we have planned so far.

August 23, 2009 at 8p it will be bike in movie/coaster brake challenge plus
a little Bollywood.
September 7, 2009, it will be Lone Wolf and Cub
September 28, 2009, it will be Gonzo: The Life and Work of Dr. Hunter S.
Thompson

As you can tell, BikeOven is full of events and we hope to see you there.
